Driver on phone without insurance stopped by police in Bolton

A DRIVER with nothing but a provisional licence and on his phone wile driving was stopped by police.

The car was followed off the motorway and stopped in Bolton. The driver was provisional licence holder, no insurance, using mobile phone and driving without due care and attention.

A spokesman for the police said: "The driver supervising didn't have the correct licence to do so, the owner who has a provisional licence was with them and allowing it to be driven without insurance.

"Vehicle seized, everyone reported for offences."
